2019 Guided trip schedule now online!

I offer fully-equipped guided canoe trips for adults into Algonquin Park’s Backcountry! Whether you’re a first timer or a seasoned paddler who’s never been to Algonquin Park and wants a taste of what “The Park” has to offer, I am available for you and your group. To maximize your solitude, only a maximum of six guests will be accommodated per trip. Private tours are also available with a maximum of 8 people.

If you are an adult and love the prospect of canoeing for days on end, I can guide you there. If the weather is wet and cold, My guide(s) and I will make you warm and comfortable around a warm fire with hot food. If the weather is hot and buggy, we will find a suitable campsite to keep the bugs away and great swimming locations to cool off in.

I’ve been touring Algonquin Park extensively for 20 years. Sometimes as much as 80 nights in one season. Even soloing for 20 days one time and on average 9-12 day solo trips. 95% of my guiding is of the flat water paddling variety. No adrenaline pumping whitewater, though a few swifts here and there might be encountered. All of this provided in a safe and serious manner with lots of fun thrown in.

Food. Oh yeah! Can’t paddle all day without eating awesome! For maximum calorie paddling fun, you need serious calories. Just because you’ll be roughing it doesn’t mean you have to eat crap food. With my service you will eat like a 'King', even a glass of red wine is provided with every evening meal.

Everything is included;
Just bring yourself and your personal effects and you’re good to go!
