About

This blog site is designed to give readers of the main website, “Mark’s Algonquin Park Sampler”, up-to date information on the progression of trip-log writing, quick photo galleries and slideshows of recent trips in Algonquin Park(Instead of waiting months and months for the official triplog). This blog is an “Addition” to the main website, and not an replacement.I will also post the occasional review or rant, on things I find useful or not so useful for camping. Readers for the first time, can comment on any posts made on this blog site. Feedback is appreciated and I look forward to any comments that will improve this site(and the main website) and enhance the reader’s enjoyment. This particular format was chosen for it’s simplicity as it doesn’t require a dedicated client to manage posts. The main website relies on a closed web-authoring system, which doesn’t suit my needs for a blogging system. I hope that readers will find this site and the main website useful in their daily search for some info on camping & tripping in Algonquin Park.
The “Photos” section, is designed more for dial-up internet users in mind. The “Slideshow” section, is for high-speed users. If dial-up users should access the slideshow, it is recommended you turn off the music, by clicking ‘off’ the ’speaker’ icon, that appears on-screen.
If you have read the disclaimer on the main website, then there is no need to read the one on this blog site, as it mirrors the one on “markinthepark.com”.
